Japan M&A Gateway is a cross-border M&A service operated by CoDigital, inc., Tokyo, connecting international buyers with businesses in Japan.
What we do
We help overseas companies and investors identify, evaluate and acquire businesses in Japan, and we help Japanese business owners find the right international buyer. Our role is to remove the practical barriers — language, distance, business practice and access to opportunities — that make cross-border transactions in Japan harder than they need to be.
How we work
We start with your criteria rather than a list of mandates. We then map the market, approach relevant companies discreetly, and coordinate the process through valuation, due diligence, negotiation and closing together with Japanese legal, tax and accounting professionals.
